Music & Leadership held the 1st M&L Breakfast on October 31, 2017 in the Czech Museum of Music in Prague. The purpose of this event was to introduce the Music & Leadership program and present a lecture selected from the program. Guests included participants from different professional sectors: diplomacy, finance, law, education, business consulting, journalism.
Mrs Ulrike Michel-Schneider, Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships opened the event, introducing the Music & Leadership concept and value it provides to the business world and beyond.
Following this, Bibi Pelić, founder and CEO presented a lecture on Music Organisations and Structures. During a lively interactive session, she presented selected music teams, explaining their organsation and structure and drawing parallels between music and business teams. The key takeaway message Bibi emphasised was that team structures may be different but equally successful depending on internal and external factors. Participants were encouraged to think about these structures and how they can immediately implement them in their work environment.
Ms.Pelić further introduced the whole Music & Leadership program, presenting the individual qualities of each topic.
Music & Leadership is honoured to have welcomed Dr.Jeremy Bradley, Director of Strategy for GUS, Global University Systems based in London. Dr.Bradley introduced the Music & Leadership online course which was developed in cooperation with studyinteractive.org, a global e-learning organisation, part of the GUS group.
